    At least its at home this year? Joe will find a way to pucker up and play it too close to the vest.

    Wonder if this has anything to do with his almost taking the job there and dropping a gem like “Michigan is the kind of program that I want Penn State to be like” back in the early 70s. I may be slightly off on the quote, but the gist is right.

    Thankfully, PSU exceeded Michigan for the first 75% of his tenure. There is no reason it can’t right now, shady academics in Ann Arbor or otherwise.

    Every time something bad happens to Michigan, it just makes the inevitable loss that much harder. I expect it to be another night game this year too.

    Re: Night game - For some reason, I was under the impression that Michigan would not be the night game this year and that Illinois would be.

    Not sure where I got that, but that’s stuck in my head for some reason.

    Well, the um game is homecoming. I haven’t seen any start times except for oregon state (3:30pm) - and even that hasn’t been verified.

    All PSU’s imortant, must-win games are at night. It’d be nice to see them win one in daylight.

    All programs should insist on such parameters.
