Off to get a little southern rock in Harrisburg tonight at the Dragonfly (234 N. 2nd St., tickets supposedly still available). I plan to have my balls rocked off, then possibly deep fried and served with okra.

RUTS - you’re a brave soldier. I moved to HBurg about 3 years ago and for safety sake have avoided the Dragonfly thus far. I’m not sure if it was the stabbing or the shotting that finally tipped the scales for me.
I ordinarily wouldn’t bother with it, but I do love this band and have missed chances to see them over the past two years. I caught the last two songs of their set while they opened for the Black Crowes out at Red Rocks last summer, but that’s it for my DBT experience so far.
Completely off topic, but Timonen is out for the conference finals with a blood clot in his leg. How many goals does Crosby score in this series now?

Yeah, apparently it is small but very painful. They had to get a vascular surgeon to find it.
My series prediction took a dramatic turn last night when I saw that news. It went from Flyers in 6 to Penguins in 5 or 6. A couple of miscues by Parent or Modry per game will end up in the back of the net… and in a hard-fought series, that will be the difference. Losing Kimmo is an enormous blow to the Flyers.
Who knows? Maybe Sid will have a brain hemorrhage after one of his dives tonight.
