Oh, come on. Like there’s not enough water on the roads already.
Beer truck crashes on I-81
by The Patriot-News
Friday May 09, 2008, 8:38 AMThe left northbound lane of Interstate 81 approaching the Wertzville Road exit in Hampden Township was closed overnight after a tractor-trailer hauling cases of Coors Light beer overturned, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 1 a.m. when the truck overturned in the median, said Greg Penny, spokesman for the District 8 office of PennDOT.

I almost shed a tear for the principle of it but it’s Coors Light, the world’s a better place for losing a truck full of it.
damn. wish i could find the picture of Homer running around in the beer rain after the truck crashed.
instead, i found this niblet of awesome.

Damn - one post and two comments and most of the good points about the destruction of a truck of Coors are already taken.
Well played, sirs.
Once on the train ride from Philly to Lewistown we passed the wreckage of a derailed freight train, just about 5 minutes out of the Lewistown station (it was winter and we were the first train to get through since the accident).
It was an eerie sight - upended cars that were pealed back like sardine cans and debris strewn throughout the woods -
My fellow passengers and I were silent as the train crept alongside - it was so quiet.
one of the cars had been hauling beer - Coors, by coincidence - and there were cans everywhere - peppering the fresh snow -
And then one passenger broke the silence with “I’m thirsty.”
I wish that there was a railroad spur from Lewistown to State College. That’d be sweet for football games.
Thank God it wasn’t good beer.
ANY loss of beer is a great, great tragedy. A moment of silence please…
My quilt is the same color as Coors Light. And urine. Coincidence? I think not.
WFY -
I am with you - If there were a rail spur to State College, I might be able to convince my wife that a private rail car could save money over getting hotel rooms and that it’s 85 feet of space would be superb for tailgating.
Also good for tailgating as there are rail lines right outside of Michigan Stadium, Memorial Stadium (Illinois), the site of Minnesota’s new stadium (though not the old) and a few others I am sure.
The only real question would be whether I go with a classy Tuscan Red and Gold ala the Pennsylvania Railroad or go with a blue and white theme…
In reality, I’m sure the trip would wind up being on some Amtrak coach - but that would be a good 3.5 hours of drinking on the way up and a nice passing out on the way home.
Oh and “Go Penguins!!!”
#7,
Dude, its Coors.
