Remember when the Eagles picked up Jevon Kearse and Terrell Owens within a few weeks of each other? Those were good times in Philly.
Of course, T.O. bitched his way out of town (I still think the Eagles should’ve just paid the guy). Now, Kearse is officially off the books.

After a loss like that, it’s only fair for editors to allow their columnists to take a few liberties:
What Feeley didn’t see was Seahawks middle linebacker Lofa Tatupu, who seemed to have the super power of making himself invisible every time the Eagles quarterback dropped back to pass today.
…
Case in point: Feeley’s first errant pass [...]

Looks like the day has finally come, as the Eagles seem prepared to go with Omar Gaither at middle linebacker. Trotter’s release had been hinted at for a week or two, but it’s still a shock in that weird nostalgic sense.
Philly.com phrases it this way:
In a stunning move, the Eagles this morning released veteran [...]

Two games? Two freaking games? Surely, these National League East standings are incorrect. The Philles are in second place, thanks to a recent string of victories and the wheels absolutely falling off in New York and Atlanta. The Mutts are 1-9 in their last 10, and face the streaking Yankees this weekend. Atlanta (3-9 in [...]

Most of it is due to how the Eagles handled every aspect of his development as a quarterback and the careful construction [...]

Happy Wednesday Thursday, everyone! It’s a belated version of B&W Roundtable today, since I was a little preoccupied with work yesterday. Black Shoe Diaries provided this week’s questions. The Nittany Line posted his thoughts yesterday. A blogger for a semi-popular Pennsylvania news website will probably be stealing our responses, posting them [...]

Philadelphia Eagles release Dhani Jones.
Now is a good time to ask, since we’re obviously not all Eagles fans. How did YOUR team do in the draft?

It’s going to be 86 degrees and brilliantly sunny in Denver today, so you shouldn’t expect much in the way of bloggery.
The NFL draft rolls on this morning, with the fourth round progressing at quite a nice pace right now. The Eagles don’t have a fourth round pick, and have two 5th-round selections along [...]

It’s a very good day for four Nittany Lions. Poz went a little lower than most thought. Jay Alford was an unexpected first-day pick. Levi Brown is going to be much wealthier than he imagined, thanks to Arizona taking him at #5. Finally, Tony Hunt lands with the Eagles, who needed [...]
